Airdrie Santa Claus Parade
Kick Off the Holiday Season in Airdrie
The Airdrie Santa Claus Parade is the official start to the holiday season in our community. Held on the first Saturday in December, this magical evening event transforms the streets into a glowing celebration filled with lights, music, and festive cheer.
Families, friends, and neighbours gather along the parade route to take in the sights and sounds of the season.
From beautifully decorated floats to local performers and community groups, every part of the parade is designed to spark joy and bring people together during the most wonderful time of the year.
Powered by Community Spirit
The Santa Claus Parade is made possible by the dedication of our volunteers and the generous support of local businesses and community partners. It is a true reflection of Airdrie’s spirit — people coming together to create something meaningful for everyone to enjoy.
A Parade Full of Holiday Magic
As the sun sets and the lights come to life, the parade creates a truly unforgettable atmosphere. Twinkling displays, festive costumes, and cheerful music fill the air, building excitement as the grand finale approaches — a special appearance from Santa Claus himself.
This event is all about creating moments that feel magical, especially for children and families who look forward to this tradition year after year.
Get Involved
Want to be part of the magic? Float registration opens in October, and we welcome businesses, organizations, and individuals to join the parade lineup. Whether you’re creating a festive float, volunteering your time, or supporting the event behind the scenes, there are so many ways to get involved.
Be sure to follow along on our social media channels for updates, registration details, and event announcements as the season approaches.
